The EVI-GTI Conference on Gas Turbine Instrumentation
28 – 30 November 2017 | NH Barbizon Palace, Amsterdam
About the event
Gas Turbine Instrumentation is the central method to measure and monitor the internal process of a gas turbine, with varying applications dependent on the type of gas turbine and particular process.
Converting natural gas and liquid fuels to mechanical energy requires complex and variable systems and components, and this specialist conference will deliver the very latest innovative work, technique development and industrial application examples from industry experts to a likeminded audience of international participants.
GTI 2017 is a well-established forum for industry, academia and business leaders to meet, publish results and share knowledge in the gas turbine instrumentation and process control sector.
Measurement systems, sensors and control processes are critical for the continued development and operation of gas turbine engines, and, through the technical scope, the organising committee are inviting contributions on the solutions for a field rich in technical challenge.
Year on year, the conference attracts a hugely international audience from across the measurement and control industry, seeking to gain an understanding of global activity in gas turbine instrumentation.
Benefits of attending
- Gain in-depth knowledge about turbine engine instrumentation and sensors
- Learn about the latest technologies in measurement systems and standards
- Network and make valuable connections with international instrumentation professionals
- Discover solutions to challenges in this technical field
What people say about GTI
“Good mix of technical presentations, with enough networking time around the core sessions.”
“It is a good opportunity to gain information about current gaps and new developments in Instrumentation.”
“[I enjoyed] the new information that I learned, in combination with good quality of presentations.”
“Presentations gave a good overview including the state of the data compression techniques.”
The 2016 Conference held in Berlin, Germany delivered a programme full of brand new content shared with over 100 delegates.
Across the three days we saw 25 technical presentations delivered at the conference, alongside the Dynamic Pressure Standards Meeting and the Blade Tip Timing Standards Meeting, as well as the excellently hosted technical site visits to the Siemens Gas Turbine Factory and AneCom AeroTeast GmbH.
