Digital healthcare and circular economy
This workshop aims to explore how circular economy and digital health technology can work in tandem to improve the reliability, resilience and affordability of the healthcare service provision.
The event date has changed: New Date - 16 May 2019
Good health equates to a good economy. A good healthcare system is vital as the population has better access to battle illness and diseases. This, in turn, produces a more reliable workforce, thus generates a thriving economy and reduces financial burden in healthcare. However, healthcare systems face tough and complex challenges, such as ageing populations, growing prevalence of chronic illnesses, and intensive use of expensive yet vital health technologies.
This workshop aims to explore how circular economy and digital health technology can work in tandem to improve the reliability, resilience and affordability of the healthcare service provision. Topics to be covered in this workshop include but not limited to digital technologies such as AI, 5G and IoT technologies for healthcare, big data, reusable electronics, smart grids with a focus on their roles in healthcare and in a circular economy.
