1st Annual General Meeting IET Control & Automation Technical Network Malaysia

IET MALAYSIA TECHNICAL TALK

Title: Control Engineering – From Factory to Human Body

Synopsis

Since man starts using equipment to assist in his daily works, engineers have been trying to increase the capacity, accuracy and efficiency of such equipment. In the beginning, control systems only exist in industrial applications and large machinery and equipment. Nowadays, it has spread to almost every equipment that we use in our daily life without even realizing their existence and how they function. It will not be long in the future before we will see these controllers are embedded in our bodies, and interact with the external environment and devices, and other human bodies. Imaging the possibilities what this can do to us, positively or negatively, and how our life and lifestyle will be changed by this.
