Biomethane - Unlocking Ireland's Potential

Gas Networks Ireland is committed to “net zero carbon” by 2050. A decarbonised gas network will reduce emissions and secure Ireland’s energy security with low disruption. One technology solution in achieving this is Biomethane. Biomethane is created from food waste, agricultural waste and other feedstocks and can help decarbonise Irish transport, agriculture, heating and support a circular economy.

Presenters: Tony Lynch - Project Engineer and Niamh Gillen - Project Engineer, Gas Networks Ireland
