Aidan will give an update on the Process Improvement covered in last year’s talk on Ballast Cleaning as well as an overview on how a track formation works. Darryl will then provide an insight into how a new style of hydraulically accentuated tamper, the first application of its type in the world is being used in Ireland to improve track maintenance effectiveness, improve ride quality and reduce the cost of track maintenance.
