Since the first statistical graph was invented by Scottish writer on political economy William Playfair (1759-1823), data visualisation experienced many adaptions and transformations. 

Nowadays data visualisation has become the key to communicating efficiently and effectively as a graphical representation of data by using visually appealing elements in all formats like charts, graphs, maps etc.

 

The IET Young Professionals presents the "Chart Your Story" data visualisation challenge.

This competition aims to inspire insights from data with all the brilliants creative thinking on the part of data analysts and cognitive reasoning.

 

Are you a data visualisation enthusiast? Join us to showcase your data-driven artistic skills while competing for top prizes!

 

Sign up to register your interest by 9:00am 2nd September.

Data sets will be provided on the 2nd of September.

Make your visualisation by 16th September and email it back to us.

 

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by 23rd September & live presentation will be week commencing 3rd October.

 

Prize: up to £100 amazon voucher.
