IN CONVERSATION WITH UK STEM YOUNG PROFESSIONALS
This interactive online event with provide the opportunity for both UK & Pakistani young professionals to share their own unique experience of journey through the STEM . The UK team will comprise of four graduates of Spirax Sarco who have diverse technical and professional experiences within the business. The audience is encouraged to ask questions and share their own experience with the panel during the event.

Research Engineer - Spirax Sarco Ltd
Sean is a Research Engineer who joined Spirax in 2016, completing a two year graduate program before accepting a full time role in the R&D department. Sean completed a Masters degree in mechanical engineering at Loughborough University and is an associate member of the IMechE working toward chartered status. Sean’s role in the development of CPC has primarily been focused around theoretical modelling, data collection, data processing and thermodynamic analysis. Sean recently presented at the Rankine 2020 conference regarding the team’s work around expander performance in a CPC cycle.
Project Manager - Spirax Sarco Ltd
Rebecca is a Project Manager in the R&D department at Spirax Sarco. She is a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and has a Masters focused in Mathematics with Engineering from the University of Birmingham. Rebecca has led the development of “Controlled Phase Cycle” and is one of her organisation’s experts in this technology. She has published several international research papers and has delivered two industrial CPC prototypes to UK Customers.

Coral joined Spirax-Sarco Engineering in 2016, as part of a year’s long undergraduate placement and subsequently joined their global graduate development programme after graduating from Loughborough University with a BSc Computer Science and Mathematics. During her time, she has worked on a software implementation project and on the graduate scheme worked in Data Analytics, Sales and Marketing (in Barcelona, Spain), IS/IT and Digital Strategy. Her current role is as an HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) Analyst. Coral is an associated member of the IET.
Research Engineer - Spirax Sarco
Dan first worked at Spirax as a student during his time at university, later joining the company as a graduate after receiving a Masters degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Bath in the UK. During a two year graduate development scheme, his roles included Clean Steam business development, production engineering, product technical support (Denmark), and product development. He currently works as a Research Engineer, and is an active IET member, volunteering as Local Network Secretary for his region of the UK, helping to organise local IET events.
