Making London and the South East EV Ready

Technological developments in the Electric Vehicle (EV) space, alongside government policy support, such as the Road to Zero Strategy, have helped accelerate the uptake of EVs in the UK.

Forecasts suggest between 1.9 to 4.1 million EVs will not only be on our roads but also on our power networks by 2030.

The government's Net Zero report further extends the ambition of carbon reduction, which could accelerate the uptake of EVs.

London has seen the largest uptake and this could accelerate.

How will Transport for London, London’s Taxi’s and other major vehicle fleets along with consumer transition to EV impact our regional power networks?

We are committed to having an environmentally responsible event portfolio and we are working hard to plan and implement events which reflect sustainable event best practices.

We are working with venues and suppliers that demonstrate best environmental practices, in particular achieving zero food waste, no single-use plastics, along with recycling and re-use of paper, metal, plastic and glass.

In order to reduce the carbon footprint of the event, we strongly encourage delegates to walk, cycle or use public transport to attend the event.
