Join us for an exclusive leadership talk featuring Ir Prof Frank Chan, a distinguished leader in Hong Kong's engineering and public service sectors. This session is part of our MS Leadership Series, designed to provide valuable insights to emerging engineers through interactive discussions with industry leaders.
Ir Prof Frank Chan's illustrious career spans key leadership positions including serving as Secretary for Transport and Housing (2017-2022) and Director of Electrical and Mechanical Services (2011-2017). Currently, he serves as Vice President of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and Deputy to the National People's Congress.
Frank's expertise encompasses infrastructure development, sustainable engineering, and public policy planning. As Founding Chairman of the Association for Engineering and Medical Volunteer Services since 1982, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to community service alongside his professional achievements.
His extensive experience in both public service and engineering, combined with deep insights into the Greater Bay Area initiatives and Hong Kong's infrastructure development, makes him an invaluable speaker for our young engineers. His perspective on aligning Hong Kong with China's national development strategies, particularly regarding the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Belt and Road Initiative, offers unique insights into the future of engineering in our region.
