Offshore Renewable Energy Developments
ORE Catapult
***THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY SUBSCRIBED***
Welcome to the IET Scotland South West's first event of 2021. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we have taken the decision to continue our events online for at least the first half of the year.
In this webinar, our guest speaker, Lorna Bennet, will introduce the role of ORE Catapult within the offshore renewable energy industry and discuss a variety of the wide-ranging projects across wind and tidal power research and developments.

Why Teams and not Zoom?
We have been asked by a number of you why we on the IET Scotland South West are using Teams rather than Zoom. There are a number of good reasons for this, but the two main ones are:
- We are aware that Zoom is not permitted, or is even blocked, on some company's IT equipment.
- Teams is able to cope with lower broadband speeds, down to as low as 0.5Mb.
