Road to Chartership
The YP Birmingham committee is fond of presenting an online talk with two young professionals from Rolls Royce and Amazon respectively that have currently undergone CEng registration or are in the process of getting registered.
The event will cover in detail the requirements for professional registration, mainly concentrating on CEng. Also, a great emphasis will be placed on how people from different backgrounds and experiences are able to apply.
The process will be explained and it will be shown that the form filling is not as daunting as some people may think.
The second part of the evening will give ideas on how to compile and produce the “evidence of competence”, focusing on the need for all to keep records.
At the close of the formal talk, there will be an opportunity for individuals to discuss their current case and status via a Q&A session.
The evening is suitable for all who have started on the path to obtaining professional engineering qualifications. Those who have graduated in the last one or two years will find it beneficial to attend and get an early feel of what is required.
