The highlight of this event is the guided tour of CQ @Clarke Quay.
A BCA Green Mark GoldPLUS precinct since 2023, CQ @ Clarke Quay is an iconic conserved historical landmark located along the Singapore River and at the fringe of Singapore’s CBD. Conveniently located within walking distance of Clarke Quay MRT station and Fort Canning MRT station, the development comprises five blocks of restored shophouses and waterfront godowns. CQ @ Clarke Quay is a popular destination for locals and tourists, offering lifestyle and dining experiences. From the guided tour, participants will be introduced to key sustainability features of the recently completed enhancement works.

Ted Howland
Vice President, Group Sustainability, CapitaLand Investment
Ted is a Vice President in Group Sustainability at CapitaLand Investment (CLI), leading the Environmental Management & Innovation team. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Civil; Massachusetts, USA) holding Civil & Environmental Engineering Masters’ & Bachelors’ from Stanford University.
Previously leading innovation, certification, and an Operational Environmental Monitoring & Management Plan, he now focuses on the CLI 2030 Sustainability Master Plan targets through global piloting of innovative technology, sourced from platforms such as the CapitaLand Sustainability X Challenge. His team assesses physical climate risks to CapitaLand. He enjoys sharing what he has learned in panels, fireside chats, talks, and podcasts.
