Technical Visit to Viridor Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) Dunbar
The facility is integral to the Scottish Government ambitions to deliver a zero waste, circular economy which encourages waste reduction, boosts recycling and recovers vital low carbon energy from what remains. The ERF will divert about 300,000 tonnes of post-recycling residual waste from landfill and contribute to Scottish energy security and local use.
You can find more information about the facility here:
https://www.viridor.co.uk/energy/energy-recovery-facilities/dunbar-erf/
The visit will comprise an introduction to the site, a tour of the main facilities and a Q & A session.
