Reasons to attend

This event was originally intended for on-campus delivery at one of the Solent area's 3 universities.  Given ongoing Covid19-related restrictions, it is now in webinar form and open to all.

We hope that students and practising engineers & technicians in early career stages will gain in particular from this event.

James is Battery Engineering Manager at Ilika plc, headquartered in the UK (of note for those of us in the Solent region; in nearby Romsey).  The company is a pioneer in a ground-breaking solid state battery technology able to meet the specific demands of a wide range of applications in MedTech, Industrial IoT, Electric Vehicles and Consumer Electronics.
