We see rapid growth in renewable energy. High voltage direct current (HVDC) systems enable power to integrate renewables, transfer long distances, to connect grids. HVDC cable systems provide vital connection and HVDC converters utilise ever-developing power electronic technology.

The presentation is given by members of the Energy Division of Mott MacDonald.  The speakers will introduce the development and outlooks on future applications.
