Securing Hardware Supply Chain with an Unforgeable Root of Trust

This talk will address the ongoing research to tackle the problem of hardware security attacks by compromised electronic devices.

The multinational-distributed nature of integrated circuits (IC) supply chain has made it vulnerable to hardware security attacks such as Trojan Insertion and IC counterfeit.

Such attacks have severe financial consequences (estimated cost for UK economy around £30bn) and pose serious threats to national security if compromised electronic devices are incorporated into sensitive systems.

This talk will address the ongoing research to tackle this problem.
