IET Robot Triathlon 2019
The IET Robot Triathlon competition is a team event made up of three competitive events: line follower, drag race and maze. Each team must design and build a robot capable of competing in all three events. The competition is accessible to beginners and seasoned competitors alike.
The main event will use the same rules as last year. We have also added a ChickBot category for novice robot builders based on the kits available from http://chickbot.club.
Download further information, including a full copy of the rules and pictures of the competition, surfaces to ensure you are fully aware of what to expect on the day: https://communities.theiet.org/communities/files/169
If you’ve never built a robot before, there are 3 workshops in Derby where you, your friends and family can learn together as a team.
IET Robot Triathlon is part of Robot Day, a free celebration of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) that explores all things robotic. Visitors can build their own robot, get hands-on with coding, hear from experts about how robots improve people’s lives and experience virtual reality.
