Project Management Techniques

This course provides you with a toolkit to successfully manage and deliver engineering and technology projects. It adds the ‘how’ to formal methodologies such as PRINCE2®

You will be introduced to tools for handling the various aspects of project management – technical, strategic, organisational and people management.

On this course you will learn to:

  • Identify, engage with and improve relationships with stakeholders
  • Develop clearer requirements and scope, requiring fewer changes
  • Produce more realistic estimates
  • Develop more reliable schedules
  • Effectively manage delivery
  • Appreciate alternative approaches to project management
  • Understand project-related terminology

Course tutor

Steve Browne has managed projects in various sectors for over 30 years. With numerous qualifications in project management, he is a member of the Association for Project Management (APM) and the Project Management Institute (PMI). He has had an interest in training throughout his career and has delivered courses in the Netherlands, Germany and the UK.
