Call for posters

Your chance to get involved- could you deliver a poster?

Do you have an exciting project that you’re working on in the field of Tribology that could be of interest to your peers?

Tribology - poster competition   PDF 1.22MB

Tribology is the science and technology of interactive surfaces in relative motion. It incorporates various scientific and technological disciplines such as surface chemistry, fluid mechanics, materials, lubricants, contact mechanics, bearing and lubrication systems. It is customarily divided into three fields: friction, lubrication and wear and most work in Tribology covers at least two of these.

Submit a 200-word abstract for an opportunity to be invited to exhibit a poster and deliver a short presentation. There will even be a panel of judges on the day who will interview you informally and watch your session with prizes and certificates to be awarded.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

  • Tribology and tribo-engineering
  • Coatings and surface engineering
  • Testing and condition monitoring
  • Lubrication chemistry

Why exhibit a poster?

  • Enter the competition to gain recognition for your achievements
  • Showcase your work and get expert feedback
  • Meet potential employers from industry and academia
  • One lead presenter of each accepted poster will receive free registration for both days of the event
