Advanced transformer diagnostics: sweep frequency response of transformer

IET Singapore Network Power and Energy Section Networking Seminar

About

IET Singapore Network invites members and guests to join us for an evening networking seminar on “Advanced Transformer Diagnostics: Sweep Frequency Response of Transformer (SFRA)" organised by the Power and Energy Section.

The SFRA test technique has been in use for some decades now. Over the years, a number of papers were published on this subject including standards.

Despite the long presence of the technique in the industry and a number of publications, the method is still regarded by many as difficult to apply.

The aim of this presentation is to provide a list of significant references that every user should be aware of, basic understanding of the method, must-know tricks to avoid mistakes as well as a case study presenting a range of different examples where the test provided important diagnostic information.
