The presentation will outline some of the technical challenges related to designing power converters in aerospace applications. Solutions to these challenges will be described, detailing the trade-offs considered during the design phase. The presentation will examine the use of new wide bandgap semiconductors and various aspects relating to the reliability of these systems.
