BAE Systems Aircraft Maintenance Academy (AMA)

About

A visit to The Humberside Airport site which is the home to a ‘world-class’ training academy, located on the outskirts of Humberside Airport, North Lincolnshire, and this is where they are developing the next generation of ‘Aircraft Maintenance Technicians’.

It has developed a truly supportive and collaborative set-up where everyone gets the opportunity to grow and learn.

Their Aircraft Maintenance Academy trains approximately 100 apprentices each year ready for work on the frontline of support at RAF bases around the UK. They have recruited more than 2,600 new apprentices and graduates in 2023, more than a 40% increase on 2022.
