hosted by IET Wellington and South Island Network

About

We're delighted to invite our New Zealand IET member to a presentation by IET New Zealand Wellington & South Island Treasurer Neil Haydon on Bletchley Park and how it shortened the second world war and saved millions of lives.

Bletchley Park was the location of the British codebreaking operation during World War II. This presentation will cover how and why Bletchley Park was established and how it collected the intelligence used to provide crucial information to Allied forces in winning the war as well as laying the foundations for modern computing.
