Celebrate the communication links between the West of Ireland and the East of Canada

About

On July 27, 1866, the world cheered as the undersea communications cable connecting North America & Europe was finally hauled ashore at Heart’s Content, having made its way from Valentia. This event celebrates the first telegraph message across the Atlantic, and the cable and aviation communication links that exist today.  Join us as we celebrate this milestone.
