Antonio Ralil is a railway engineer with over 20 years of international experience spanning rolling stock, signalling systems, railway operations, and maintenance engineering. He currently serves as Engineering Director for Alstom Services in Singapore and Malaysia, leading service engineering activities that support operators and asset owners in maximising fleet performance, reliability, and lifecycle value. In this role, Antonio is driving the deployment of advanced digital maintenance solutions, including Digital Maintenance solutions, Automated Inspection technologies, and Condition-Based Monitoring systems. He is also leading initiatives that leverage AI-enhanced predictive maintenance and data analytics to improve asset availability, optimise maintenance strategies, and enable data-driven decision-making across complex railway networks. Prior to his current position, Antonio held a variety of engineering, testing, and leadership roles across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Australia. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the delivery of major railway programs, covering systems engineering, integration, assurance, testing, and validation for rolling stock, signalling systems, power supply infrastructure, operations control centres, and condition monitoring solutions. Antonio holds a Master’s degree in Railway Engineering and Urban Transport Systems, is a Chartered Engineer, and is an international professional member of several leading engineering institutions.

Mahesh Kavinda is Director at Gantner Instruments S.E.A. Pte Ltd, the Singapore regional headquarters of Gantner Instruments GmbH (Austria), where he has led the company's P&L, market strategy, and technical solution delivery across Southeast Asia since 2014. With over 15 years in test-and-measurement, industrial IoT, and distributed data acquisition, he works at the intersection of engineering and governance — helping safety-critical and heavy-compliance industries turn continuous field monitoring into structured, auditable evidence. Rail sits close to his own delivery record: Mahesh has personally managed remote asset-monitoring programmes for Singapore's MRT network and for Alstom's trains and stations and led a continuous machine-health monitoring rollout deployed across Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, and Malaysia. This hands-on experience with strain, vibration, and condition-monitoring systems in live transit and industrial environments grounds his perspective on what audit-ready, safety-critical infrastructure actually requires. On the governance side, Mahesh has served since 2018 as an Industry Systems Expert on Singapore's Standardisation Committee for Connectivity in the Factory Shop Floor Working Group (SMF-SDO), contributing to national standards for industrial connectivity and data governance. He also led the commercialisation of PQStation, an NTU Singapore-linked post-quantum security and OT-cybersecurity spin-off, reflecting his ongoing focus on the risk, resilience, and compliance dimensions of connected infrastructure. His portfolio also spans custom vibration, flow, and temperature monitoring for hyperscale data centres and renewable energy applications — work that ties operational performance monitoring directly to energy efficiency and sustainability outcomes across the region.
