About
The University of Edinburgh established research in the field of Fire Safety Engineering in the early 1970's and today has the largest number of researchers and academics specialising in fire science and fire safety engineering in Europe.
The laboratory is able to handle fires up to 1MW and it is hoped that a demonstration of fire behavior will be possible as part of the visit.
The visit will include discussion of many types of fire including Lithium Ion battery fires.
