Electric Dreams at the Common Room

An electrifying day for all the family! Join us for a family day at the Common Room as part of the Electric Dreams...

About

Join us for a family day at the Common Room as part of the Electric Dreams festival and try your hand at building a model wind-turbine or hydrogen-powered racing car or our interactive energy grid balancing simulation. Discover what’s going on in the North East in response to climate change … Lego, games, model-making, book readings, hands-on activities and more – all related to electricity and energy generation.

Presented in association with Northern Powergrid, Newcastle University, Northern Gas Networks, NESO, the Women’s Engineering Society, the IET, and the Ministry for Eco Education.
