MV Drive Technologies/International Efficiency 5 (IE5) Motors
About
In a world that is striving for decarbonisation and ever increasing requirement for efficiency, this seminar introduces the concept and application of using MV drive technologies with a combination of switchgear and motors.
An overview of the new IE5 classification of motor which have a design of 20% fewer losses compared to IE4 motors. The design of this class of motor allows consideration of the assets to be used in hazardous areas under the basis of 'increased safety'.
