One day seminar with the Fuel and Energy Research Forum

This one-day seminar, brings together experts from industry and academia with expertise in various aspects of electricity energy storage.
The programme will include presentations on the role of energy storage in the transition to a ‘net-zero’ electricity grid (NESO), the engineering challenges and latest developments in battery energy storage (BES) technology and a session looking at innovations in ‘alternative’ (non-BES) energy storage solutions including pumped-hydro, compressed-air, liquified-air, kinetic-energy-flywheel technologies.
The event is organised by the Fuel and Energy Research Forum (FERF) with the support of the IET North Yorkshire and South Yorkshire Local Networks.
