EV Public Infrastructure Talk - David Trousdale

About

Thanks to support from the IET North Yorkshire Local Network, the University of York Engineering Society has arranged a talk by David Trousdale, currently Principal Advisor - Climate Change and sustainability at Newcastle City Council, to discuss his new book published with the IET.

The book provides an overview of the technologies and broader themes which should be understood when taking an end to end approach to EV charge point deployment, from concept through to operation.

The talk will take place on Tuesday 10th February @ 4pm-5pm and will be hosted in room PS/B/020 at the University of York West Campus.

David was kind enough to give a talk in 2024 as part of the York Festival of Ideas which was well received and we expect this talk to also be well worth attending for anyone interested in EV technology, net zero, as well as infrastructure planning.

Tickets are free on the York Students Union website - see tickets link. You are not required to have a ticket but it gives us an idea of numbers and so would be really helpful if you could sign up for one please.
