Fireside chat between two SME starters with focus on challenges and problem solving

About

Being part of the slash group or business starter are now two popular career options for young professionals. Some take advantage of the assistance schemes, consultation services, and other supports the SAR Government provide to help dreamers start their own endeavours. However, it is observed that the failure rate of starters in Hong Kong is incredibly high. They may want to know what and where do they go wrong.

This fireside chat gathers the talent and experience of two senior engineers who started their own businesses, which are still in operation. They will discuss casually but realistically why and how they started, how they built their business models, what the imperatives are for business survival and growth, the major challenges and opportunities, the possible succession plan, and the winding up options.

After the fireside chat is completed, a third speaker, a senior engineer with a legal background, will join in to share some valid solutions to selected major problems that startups will often encounter.
