Gravity (Barrow-in-Furness)

Serious Science! (1/2)

About

The title is a pun on the meanings of the word 'Gravity', but the talk will be a light-hearted look at what Gravity is, how it works and how it affects our daily lives.  For example, how does it cause tides in our oceans and why do we see only one side of the moon?  How does it cause ice ages and affect our daily weather / climate?  Gravity affects us in many more ways than we may realise.
