Hitachi Rail is a pioneer in innovation in the Rail Industry with technological breakthroughs in autonomous driverless trains to state-of-the-art digital control and signalling solutions.
This talk will look at several aspects involved in the conceptualization and design of modern train systems from Data, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning to Cybersecurity, Regulations and Standards and provide a spotlight on where the rail industry is catching-up or leading.
About the speaker:
Bruno Mielli Corasolla MIET, is the Global Head of Digital Train at Hitachi Rail, Vehicles Line of Business. He is responsible for fostering the development of digital solutions and technologies that will be in Hitachi’s future train generations.
Bruno has been with Hitachi Rail for more than 6 years. Previous roles included Electronic Systems Engineering lead and Head of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, having participated projects like the Intercity Express (Class 80x), Scotrail Class 385, WCP Class 8XX and EMR Class 8XX. Prior to that, he worked with Embraer for more than 14 years in the development of several commercial, business, and military aircraft systems.
Born in Brazil, he graduated in Electrical Engineering at UNICAMP (Universidade de Campinas).
