Holographic Telepresence a path to 6G Applications

Dr Vassilis Seferidis, CEO of Nephelie Technologies, will give an overview of A Mobile Volumetric Video Production as 6G Apps, over Network of Networks.

About

A lecture on Volumetric Video Production (VVP) 
and its workflow with 3D Gaussian Splatting over 
parallel GPU processing at the edge of a network 
of networks, that demonstrates a 6G application 
over future networks. The 3D Gaussian Splattings 
of a scene is generated using open-source 
software packages along with the Nephelie own 
code optimised in creating this 6G futuristic 
application software for a seamless generation of 
3DGS suitable for volumetric video content 
productions.

Dr Vassilis Seferidis

CEO - Nephelie Technologies

With over 25 years of experience in the Telecommunications and Consumer Electronics industries, Vassilis has held leadership roles at major global companies. Before founding Nephelie Technologies, he served as CEO of Zeetta Networks, where he led the development of network orchestration solutions for large enterprises. Prior to that, he was VP of Business Development at Samsung Electronics, driving revenue growth and strategic expansion across Europe. He has also held executive positions at BT, Toshiba, Philips, QIO Systems, and the British Standards Institute. 
Vassilis holds a BSc and MSc from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, a PhD from Essex University, UK, and an MBA from Cass Business School (University of London).
