About

Industry 5.0 and Ethical AI: How Engineers Can Lead the Next Industrial Revolution

Artificial Intelligence is not just changing the way we work—it’s redefining what it means to be an engineer. In this inspiring but pragmatic Keynote, AI strategist and author Katie King will explore how engineering professionals can ethically and effectively harness AI to innovate, remain competitive, and lead in the Industry 5.0 era.

Katie will begin with a live poll to identify where the audience stands in their AI journey—and the key concerns they face. From there, she will outline how engineers can move beyond hype to create tangible value using AI, addressing real-world challenges such as legacy infrastructure, skills gaps, and the risks of misalignment between technology and ethics.

This engaging and practical session will offer:

- 'Stealable innovations' from cross-industry AI applications.
- A roadmap for engineers to build an AI Taskforce and craft a clear AI Playbook.
- Katie’s proven 6-Month Action Plan to move from experimentation to implementation.
