About

Dr. Davide Pinzan will describe his experience on some of the largest HVDC projects in the Interconnectors, Offshore Wind, and Multi-Purpose Interconnector sectors in UK and the future development in this sector.
The projects he worked on include North Sea Link (NSL), Greenlink, New York Invenergy Offshore Wind Farm, East West Interconnector, Aquind, Xlinks, Celtic, Sea Link Multi-Purpose Interconnector, Wet Wires, and Morven Offshore Wind Farm.
At GE Vernova, he is responsible for the successful tender submission of the Engineering Team for turnkey HVDC Converter Station projects.
In his previous position at WSP, he has been supporting clients for the delivery of large HVDC projects at different stages: business development, techno-economic feasibility, connection agreement, regulator consent application, procurement, design review, construction and installation, technical audit, refurbishment, and maintenance.
