HVDC is the main contributor for electricity transmission to meet the net zero emissions (NZE) 2050
About
1.5°C above preindustrial levels can limit irreversible effects of climate change, it is the target for NZE 2050. Due to intermittence of renewable energy power plant, the electrical power transmission should utilise Super Grid which can connect the electrical networks globally. The HVDC can interconnect un-synchronized Electrical power networks.
Efficiency is a key pillar for reaching Net Zero 2050, the HVDC is the main pillar for transmission electrical energy to meet the net zero emissions 2050.
