Hydrogen and Wind - A perfect match?

In collaboration with UHI North, West & Hebrides

About

Wind energy is highly variable, but a claim frequently made is that it is possible to turn a large wind turbine into a power source as reliable as a conventional power station by combining it with hydrogen generation. In this talk, we will consider if this is really possible and explain the compromises needed if we are to live in a world powered only by wind.
