IET France Local Network / ICE France visit to ITER

The IET France Local Network invites you to join us and our friends at the Institute of Civil Engineers in our visit to the ITER construction site in Provence.

The ITER Nuclear Fusion Tokamak reactor (ITER - the way to new energy) is nearing completion and we have the opportunity to visit the site and learn about the science and engineering behind its design and construction. We wil be based out of Aix-en-Provence and will catch a coach to and from the site.

We will also be hosting a dinner and presentation in the evening to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the IET France Local Network and on a complementary visit to the Observatoire de Hautes-Provence on the morning of the 28th May which you will also be encouraged to join.

Registrees will be given details of the recommended hotel to book by the beginning of March. The visit, coach, refreshments and dinner will be provided however attendees will be responsible for their travel to and from the hotel and the hotel booking itself.
