IET Humber Local Network Dinner Dance

About

November sees the return of one of the regions long running and favourite prestigious events

The IET annual Dinner had been running for over 50 years now and is a great event for networking and catching up with friends and colleagues with many popular faces attending.

The event will include a 3 course meal, disco and ‘fun’ casino and naturally it wouldn’t be the event without the famous raffle.

Stuart Gregory

Lead Electrical Engineer - Phillips 66

Currently engaged in the Emerging Energy and Carbon Capture projects leading the clean energy transition through future growth and Decarbonisation, Stuart has worked at the Phillips 66 Humber Refinery for over 22 years, where he has carried out several roles, but electrical safety has always been a key focus for him with the role of Authorising Engineer for the site, has gained a great understanding of the requirements for electrical safety principles and developing practical methodologies for reducing the risk, and completed an extensive study into Arc Flash and developed a number of philosophies that can be easily applied to most applications. As well as his role at the Humber Refinery, Stuart has been involved in numerous industry bodies such a EEMUA and Energy Institute, and has been the Treasurer of the IET Humber Network committee for over 20 years and takes over as Chairman in January.
