The IET Manchester Network is thrilled to announce this year’s Annual Dinner which will take place at the Marriott Manchester Hotel, the ideal venue for an evening of good food, networking and great entertainment.
Our theme this year is ‘‘Engineering a Better Future”. We are joined by Dr Susan Scurlock MBE, Founder and CEO of Primary Engineer, who will be our keynote speaker for the evening.
Primary Engineer® was founded in 2005 and its core aim is to inspire the engineers of the future by building engagement between children and the engineering industry from a young age, and starts by asking the question, “If you were an engineer, what would you do?”
The answers to this question over the years have been inspiring, impressive and in some cases very moving.

Tickets are priced at £70 per ticket or £700 for a table of 10.
A limited number of tickets are available priced at £40 per ticket for IET Retired members or Student members.

Dr Susan Scurlock, MBE
Founder & CEO - Primary Engineer
Susan founded Primary Engineer in 2005 and has over the years developed many additional programmes such as Secondary Engineer, The Leaders Award for STEM and now the Institutions of Primary Engineers and the Institutions of Secondary Engineers.
