About
IET Singapore Network invites members and guests to join us for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) with a technical talk on “The Power of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI)”.
The speaker will provide an overview of the new capabilities of ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, including techniques and methods to create content, visualise data, as well as generate images, diagrams, and code. The speaker will engage the participants with an interactive demonstration to explore the potential of GenAI tools.

Darren Tjan
AI Whisperer // Speaker // Adult Educator // Performance Consultant // Instructional Coach // Learning Catalyst
Darren Tjan is a consultant, trainer and learning designer with over 20 years of experience working with individuals and organisations in the areas of learning, technology and performance. He has consulted and trained a wide range of individuals from both the public and private sectors.
He has designed and developed WDA accredited training, customised training for multinational companies, as well as eLearning courses. Darren created and launched the World’s First Full-Day In-Person Paid Public Course on Using Generative AI in Designing Learning to allow instructional designers and learning facilitators better integrate the use of GenAI into their workflows. He currently helps organisations integrate GenAI into their work processes in a systematic manner and aids them in upskilling their people to better use GenAI as part of their workflows.
Darren has a Master of Arts in Instructional Design & Technology from the National Institute of Education, NTU, Singapore, as well as a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics and Philosophy from the National University of Singapore.
He achieves much satisfaction in helping people maximise the potential in their lives.
