Mr. Marcin Dedys

Head of Engineering at Hitachi Rail GTS Singapore

Mr. Marcin Dedys is the Head of Engineering at Hitachi Rail GTS Singapore. He has over 16 years of experience in the railway sector, primarily focusing on train control systems for the urban railway market.

He began his career as a Systems Engineer in Toronto, Canada and was relocated to Singapore in 2013 to take on a leadership role in a major re-signalling project as the Project Design Authority. He has assumed responsibility for engineering and innovation activities in Singapore, focusing on urban rail signalling, telecommunications, supervisory systems, and revenue ticketing systems, also works closely with key railway stakeholders such as SMRT, SBST, and LTA in Singapore, as well as with regional operators and authorities across the APAC region.

Er. Lim Say Leong

Technical Director at Sunlight Electrical and CHINT Global International Pte Ltd

Er. Lim Say Leong is a Professional Engineer in Singapore. He is Technical Director at Sunlight Electrical and CHINT Global International Pte Ltd.  With over 50 years of working experiences, he held responsible positions in the commercial and technical, ranging from managerial to directorship. He is instrumental in decision-making involving matters on safety, standardization and standard specifications. Er. Lim chairs the Technical Committee on electrical and electronic products under the Singapore’s Electrical and Electronics Standards Committee, and is the convenor of several working groupings on products, systems and installation code of practices.
