applicants, while you can interact with them directly.

Er. Richard Fong, FIET, CEng

International Professional Registration Advisor (IPRA)

Er. Richard Fong is a retired telecommunications engineer who was appointed as the IEE International Membership Advisor in 2003. This role was later converted to International Professional Registration Advisor when IEE became IET in 2006. Throughout his career, Richard has actively mentored graduate engineers in their professional development and served on numerous Chartered Engineer interview panels. Thus, he possesses a wealth of experience in guiding individuals through the Professional Registration process and providing valuable insights to help you prepare for your interview session.

Dr. Matthew Teow, CEng

Course Director/Lecturer at PSB Academy, Singapore

Dr. Matthew Teow is a Chartered Engineer and Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate registered with the Engineering Council, UK, and the Board of Engineers, Malaysia, respectively. He is a Member and a Professional Registration Interviewer for the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK. Matthew is actively involved with the IET, serves as the Chairman of the IET Malaysia Local Network (2014/2016), a Committee Member of the IET Community Committee Asia Pacific (2016/2019), and a Committee Member of the IET Communities Resourcing Committee (2020/2023). He specializes in Artificial Intelligence and Scientific Computing and works as a Course Director/Lecturer at PSB Academy, Singapore.

Mr Karunakar Kancheti, CEng

Head of Engineering (Rail Electrification) Siemens Mobility, Singapore

Mr Karunakar has completed his Master of Science in Power Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and Bachelors of Technology in Electrical & Electronics from Acharya Nagarjuna University, India. Mr Karunakar has 20 years of Experience in design, engineering and Project Management in Power, Oil & Gas and Railway Industries. Currently he is working as Head of Engineering (Rail Electrification) in Siemens Mobility, Singapore. Mr Karunakar is professionally registered as Chartered Engineer from IET, International Professional Engineer (U.K) and a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He is actively volunteering as IPRA ( International Professional Registration Advisor-IET) and mentoring candidates in professional registrations for Chartered Engineers. His areas of interest includes Smart rail Infrastructure, Sustainable design and Network control of large metro systems.

Dr. Lee Sze Sing, CEng

Assistant Professor and Degree Programme Director of Electrical Power Engineering at Newcastle University, Singapore

Dr. Lee is an Assistant Professor and the Degree Programme Director of Electrical Power Engineering at Newcastle University in Singapore. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, and a Guest Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics. He is a Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council, UK, and currently serves as a Professional Review Interviewer and International Professional Registration Advisor.

Dr. Andrew Keong Ng, CEng (UK), SMIEEE, Sr. MIES, MIET, AMIRSE

Associate Professor and Programme Leader at Singapore Institute of Technology

Dr. Andrew Keong Ng is an Associate Professor with Singapore Institute of Technology. He is the Programme Leader of the Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, the Master of Engineering Technology and the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering (Land), and the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Engineering Systems. Moreover, Dr. Ng is a Chartered Engineer with the UK Engineering Council and serves on the committees of various international and local professional engineering institutions, such as Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES), Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE). He is a Senior Member of IEEE and IES; a Consultant and Advisor to startups and multinational corporations; and a Topic Editor of Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute journals. In addition, Dr. Ng is a Principal Investigator of several grants amounting to more than SGD 1.5 million. He holds one international patent and has over 30 publications as both first and corresponding author. His research and development innovations have also garnered him several prestigious awards, such as Outstanding Researcher Award, Teaching Excellence Award, Amity Researcher Award, Young Investigator Award, and National Instruments Editor’s Choice Engineering Impact Award. Furthermore, Dr. Ng has been a keynote and an invited speaker at various international conferences. He has also been frequently quoted and interviewed by news media on railway transportation issues and current affairs.
