Jane Gillespie
Senior Manager, Strategy & Growth at Downer - Rail Leadership | Project Delivery | Decarbonisation
Jane Gillespie is the Senior Manager of Strategy & Growth at Downer, where she leads initiatives in rail decarbonisation, project delivery, and strategic growth. With a strong background in commercial leadership and engineering, Jane has grown Downer’s rail decarbonisation offering from an internal research capability into a $300k business stream. She has led a diverse team of 50 rail engineers and served four years on the Young Leaders Advisory Board. Jane is a regular speaker and panel host at industry conferences, presenting on topics such as synthetic fuels and diversity in rail, and facilitating discussions on decarbonising freight and heavy haul sectors. Her expertise in building strategic relationships has been key to delivering major project bids, including a $4 million operator project.
