International Conference on Railway Engineering 2026 – Mainland China Technical Visit

About
Following the successful ICRE 2026 conference held in Hong Kong on 6–7 August 2026, the Railway and Transport Section of IET Hong Kong is organising a Mainland China technical visit to extend the professional exchange and learning arising from the conference. This technical visit will provide participants with first-hand exposure to the latest developments in railway signalling, intelligent operations and maintenance, industrial automation, urban railway management and artificial intelligence in Mainland China. The delegation is expected to visit leading railway and technology organisations in Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou, including CASCO, Suzhou Industrial Park, Hangzhou MTR, Hollysys and selected artificial intelligence and automation enterprises.
