Dr Yatish Patel
Advanced Research Fellow - Department of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London
Dr Yatish Patel is an Advanced Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London having trained as a physicist before moving to engineering to undertake a PhD in fracture mechanics. For the past 12 years, his research has been focused on lithium ion batteries, understanding battery degradation mechanisms, failure modes and the limits of operation, and the impact these have on system design, control and safety.
