Chris leads the ageing and obsolescence (A&O) management of instrumentation and control (I&C) equipment within the UK's generating nuclear fleet.
In this talk, Chris will address the challenge of ageing and obsolescence management, highlighting an issue faced by many industries and exploring what makes it especially difficult for the nuclear sector. He will look at the vintage technologies that need to be managed, discuss best practices, and present worked examples.
