Steve Markham

Flying enthusiast

Steve Markham graduated in Control Engineering at Sussex in 1969 and initially worked on Navy Action Information Systems followed by signal analysis, jet engine vibration testing and aircraft simulation. The middle part of his career took him into the supercomputer and high-performance networking industries before returning to simulation (of parachutes and ground vehicles) in the nineties.

The University of Surrey campus is on the North side of Cathedral Hill. The main access road turns off from the cathedral roundabout. Park in the main car park, just beyond the private AQA Car Park. Parking is available to campus visitors and unrestricted after 7 pm. The Surrey Business School (Rik Medlik Building) is directly across the road from the car park. Penalty charges are now being applied rigidly up to 7pm.
