Oversea technical visit to Tokyo

RTS is organizing an overseas technical visit to Tokyo, Japan on 24-26 April, 2024 (Wed – Fri) for exchanging latest technology in the area of transportation with local experts. The planned visits include the followings:

• Tokyo Metro and depot visit
• Railway Technical Research Institute and facility visit
• Tsukuba and facility visit
• Tokyo Metropolitan Traffic Control Centre
• NEXCO Central Highway Control Centre
• Ride on autonomous vehicle
• Technical sharing and networking with Japan professional community such as IET Japan and Japan Overseas Railway System Association (JORSA)

Participants are required to arrange their own transportation (including flight ticket and local transportation) to the gathering location at 9am each day near Shinagawa station (tentatively), as well as necessary accommodation, travel insurance and some meal expense during the visits. Successful applicants will be contacted further for coordinating the details for the visit.
